How should I let customers opt-in?

You need an active opt-in from your customers, obtained outside the WhatsApp Business channel. This means customers need to actively share their number or click a checkbox. Also, you need to clearly inform customers on:

  1. What number is opted-in
  2. What type of information is sent to that number
  3. The use of WhatsApp by showing the logo and name
  4. Opt-in confirmation via WhatsApp after completing opt-in process
